Adrian Foster

As a graduate of the Caribbean Academy of Fashion Design at the University of Trinidad and Tobago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and Fine Arts, fashion designer  Adrian Foster took his bold step as a creative entrepreneur and launched his self-titled women’s ready-to-wear retail brand in 2013.

Since then, his remarkable initiative has gained him several recognitions while working within the fashion industry in Trinidad and Tobago. Some of which includes being awarded the University of Trinidad and Tobago – The President’s Award for Graduate, Entrepreneur of the Year 2014, nominated by the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago – Ministry of Gender, Youth and Child Development for The National Youth Award – Youth in Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award and also nominated by the University of Trinidad and Tobago for Alumni Entrepreneurial Award.

In September 2014 he presented his ready-to- wear collection at his first International fashion show, The Fashion Gallery NY during New York Fashion Week and was selected to repre sent Trinidad and Tobago at the International Fashion Showcase in London during London Fashion Week 2014.

As minimalism threads throughout his design aesthetic, he pays special attention to the fit and functionality of his garments adding his signature subtle details and wrap elements to his pieces.

Adrian’s aim is to continue his development as an aspiring fashion designer and artist where he is looking forward to visiting various known fashion capitals around the world, learning about different cultures and their history of art and techniques as he desires to be the greatest influential Caribbean fashion designer of his time.
